A friend posted this to my Facebook page. (Thank you Sarah!) This is a stunning piece of art. It is a sculpture in metal with a great back story too.

Rabbi Yossi Raichik saved over 2,500 children from the effects of the Chernobyl disaster. Before he died, he was the director of Chabad’s Children of ChernobylThe artist David Kracov was commissioned to create this sculpture to be given in honor of the rabbi’s work. Each page has words from the children (who are now all grown up) whose lives he touched. These butterflies represent the children whom he gave a renewed chance at life.” -Diana Adams, Bit Rebels.com
